Mission

The mission of the Potomac View Elementary School Counseling Program is to deliver a comprehensive, data-driven approach that supports the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students. Guided by the ASCA National Model, we empower students to be self-reflective, set high expectations, and embrace risk-taking. We believe that compassion, empathy, and respect are the cornerstones of a collaborative community, ensuring equitable access to opportunities for every student. By working closely with teachers and parents, we create a safe and supportive environment that inspires students to celebrate their unique identities while cultivating connections within our diverse community.
